no you can't, and you don't need either, because it's a high power emission tester. When the emission is still good, transconductance is still good also There is no such tube with bad transconductance and good emission. Provided the emission is tested at or above real life plate current. So not at a few mA as some of some silly emission testers so, but really test 6L6 at 100mA. Etc. W18 is a very good tester.
